To all those who are planning to visit Anawangin, take extra care. Don’t go far offshore. Facing the beach, stay away from the left most side because danger lurks, There is a strong underwater current. Watch out for big waves because it can carry you far from the shore. We were informed that since Januaary 2008 there have been 7 deaths in Anawangin. There are no warning signs, no life guards so be careful. Don’t go swimming during high tide. Gravitational pull during high tide cause big waves. As a precaution, wear life vest and always pray before starting your trip. God Bless you all.
